Meet Our Pastor
Dr. Neleeta (Lesa) Alexander
Dr. Neleeta Alexander was born in Reidsville, N.C. She currently resides in Greensboro, NC. She’s married to Stanley Alexander. She has two adult children Tonya and Reggie from a previous marriage.. She’s the pastor of Cornerstone Christian Center in Reidsville, NC. where she has served as pastor for over 20 years.
In 1980 she accepted the call to preach the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was under the tutelage of her mother the late Elder Effie Parker who was pastor of the church she planted. Dr. Neleeta’s mother passed away in 1997 and she became the pastor of the church. In 2005 the members purchased another church in Reidsville, NC which is now called Cornerstone Christian Center. Cornerstone Chrisitan center is non-denominational and also has its 501-C3 status.
Dr. Neleeta believes in leading by example. She’s passionate about learning the word of God. Therefore she enrolled in Word of Life Bible College and obtained her Masters Degree in Theology. She went on to complete her studies at Living Epistle Bible College 2.0. where she received her Doctorate Degree in Theology.
Under the leadership of Pastor Alexander Cornerstone Christian Center (CCC) have hosted food and clothing giveaways, block parties for the community. They have opened their facility to Rockingham Community College for GED classes. They have offered financial assistance to those in need. During COVID she held service outside of the four walls of the church. This provided a way for bringing the communities together in unity. In 2021 she opened the education building and is in partnership with the Living Epistle Bible College 2.0 under the leadership of President Gwendolyn Bacote. Dr. Neleeta is also a board member for the Community Crisis Center which has its headquarters at her church.
Pastor Alexander has a passion for souls. She loves everybody and is willing to do what she can. Her mission for CCC is to bring new jobs to Reidsville, NC, enable individuals to become self-sufficient, provide people with resources to become homeowners or find housing and make her city and surrounding areas a better place for everyone. All of these accomplishments, opportunities, and endeavors which are numerous could not have been completed if it wasn’t for God’s grace and favor on her life. Pastor Alexander believes in loving, preaching, teaching, and reaching anyone she can for the kingdom of God. She is passionate about what she does for she knows her reward will be great in heaven.
One final thing to know. Is that Pastor Alexander said, “ I want to accomplish the purpose God put me here for and for people to see that I have fought a good fight and that I love the Lord.”
